German ‘shredding’ variety
This giant German pointed cabbage has long been used for shredding to make classic sauerkraut and delicious coleslaws. A full sized cabbage can weigh 4.5kg (10lbs). However at closer spacing it will produce great ‘family sized’ cabbages.
There is most definitely a cabbage for all seasons, supplying a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants through the year.
